Terms and Conditions – 

Participants in all Research and Development Programs agree to the following terms and conditions to receive credits.

Participant Eligibility

Only Members who are Actively Working with retailers are eligible to participate.

Actively Working is defined as being currently employed by an authorized retailer in the country of Canada to sell Cannabis. Members who are not actively working during or at the time of the program launch will not receive any credits for Research and Development Programs unless otherwise stated. The Budtenders Association reserves the right to refuse credits to accounts that have not met the Participant Eligibility requirements.

Securing your Ticket 

Please be mindful that there are only Limited Tickets available for R&D programs, products purchased without a ticket will not be credited, please carefully read below.

Entries

Members will be limited to only securing one ticket per event

Budtenders Association will not credit any accounts that have purchased product without securing a ticket and completing the survey. 

Reimbursement

Once a participating member has completed all the requirements of the program. They can expect a credit to their Membership Account in Seven (7) business days. Members may only redeem credits when in excess of “1000 nugs” or $100 CAD that will be paid out via visa gift card. 

Budtenders Association is not responsible for any lost or stolen gift cards.

Expiration of Credits

Credits will expire and no longer be redeemable 2 years after the first credits are deposited on member accounts. In addition, Budtenders Association is not responsible for any losses or damages caused by the dissolution of the program or the company. Budtenders Association will provide members with a (90) day, (10) day and (24 hour) reminder if the program is to be discontinued. In an event of a bankruptcy Budtenders Association is not responsible for redeeming any credits held by members. 

Advised Participation Procedure. If purchasing at a Retailer  

1. Check the Budtenders Association R&D page for tastings. Ensure you are eligible to participate (event open to your province), all ineligible participants will not be credited.
2. Check to see if tickets are still available. If tickets are no longer available that tasting is Closed and will no longer be available. 
3. Reserve your ticket. Reservations can only be held for a maximum of twelve (12) hours; upon expiry the Ticket will no longer be held and be open to other members. 
4. Upload a photo of the receipt and product to Budtenders Association tasting registration this will secure your ticket and validate your reservation
5. Check your email for survey details to be completed before the expiry of the tasting. Surveys that are not submitted in full and before the expiry will not be credited.
6. Upon full completion of the survey, participants can expect to receive credits after (7) seven business days. 
7. Members must have a minimum of 1000 credits to redeem for a Visa Gift Card. 

Advised Participation Procedure. If purchasing at a Provincial Distributor ( i.e OCS) 

1. Check Budtenders Association R&D page for tastings.Ensure you are eligible to participate, all ineligible participants will not be credited.
2. Check to see if tickets are still available. If tickets are no longer available that tasting is Closed and will no longer be available. 
3. Reserve your ticket. Reservations can only be held for a maximum of twelve (12) hours; upon expiry the Ticket will no longer be held and be open to other members. 
4. Upload a photo of the email confirmation from the provincial distributor. 
5. Check your email for survey details to be completed before the expiry of the tasting. Surveys that are not submitted in full and before the expiry will not be credited.
6. Upon full completion of the survey, participants can expect to receive credits after (7) seven business days. 
7. Members must have a minimum of 1000 credits to redeem for a Visa Gift Card. 

Liability – 

Budtenders Association is not liable for any additional expenses related or otherwise to the tasting and survey completion. In addition, Budtenders Association is not liable for any misuse or side effects of a product or device used by participants.  

Participants agree and acknowledge that falsely submitting documents or engaging in fraudulent activities will void all credits to their Budtenders Association Member Account.
