About the Workshop

As part of Black Mental Health Week, High Notes, Clear Minds invites Black community members in Toronto to gather for an interactive, culturally grounded cannabis education workshop rooted in Hip Hop.

The High Notes, Clear Minds workshop is a 90-minute, interactive, dialogue-based session designed for groups of 10–25 participants.

  • Grounding in history, culture, and community context
  • Understanding the science of cannabis
  • Exploring harm and risk reduction strategies
  • Building practical tools for informed and healthier decision-making
  • Engaging community reflection and action

Hip Hop is used as both an educational framework and healing practice, meeting people where they are through rhythm, storytelling, and collective dialogue.
